Voodoo Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) package uncooked fusilli pasta
  • 1 (16 ounce) package Cajun sausage
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 (15 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce, or to taste
  • Directions

    1. Cook pasta and drain.
    2. While pasta is cooking, cut sausage into 1/4-inch-thick slices and place in a bowl.
    3. Cut onion into bite-size prices and add to bowl.
    4. Sprinkle sausage and onion with Cajun seasoning and toss lightly to evenly coat.
    5. Heat a large skillet over medium-high.
    6. Add sausage and onion and cook, stirring frequently, until lightly browned.
    7. Stir in Alfredo sauce and parsley.
    8. Add hot sauce to taste.
    9. Heat through.
    10. Pour sauce over pasta and toss until well coated.
    11. Serve immediately.
